While Danny Garcia called out Spence inside the ring, everyone’s mind was elsewhere. Let’s be realistic we all want Spence to face the other elite welterweight champions Terence “Bud” Crawford. As always in boxing this comes down to politics, as Crawford is promoted by Top Rank. As the two different promoters work out a way for the best to face the best, we get Spence vs Garcia in the meantime.

Danny Garcia vs Adrian Granados | HIGHLIGHTS | PBC ON FOX

Danny Garcia has been keeping himself busy inside the ring, with recent wins over Adrian Granados and Brandon Rios. His only two losses come from Shawn Porter and Keith Thurman, so understandably the odds are against the former WBA and WBC champion. Back in the early to mid 2000’s, Garcia was on top of his game, he famously defeated a prime Amir Khan and Zab Judah. Garcia is still only 31 and brings lot’s of different tools to the table than what Spence has seen before.

There are many options within boxing’s welterweight division right now, with the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Terrance Crawford (who is the betting underdog +100) sitting waiting for their next bout. We also like the option of Spence vs Porter 2 being run back down the road too!
