Boston Celtics +500

It might be a bit surprising that the Celtics have the highest odds for the 2023 NBA title. Then again, it really shouldn’t be a surprise. If you want some extra bang for your buck, use this PointsBet promo code to net five risk-free bets.

The entire roster is back, and they added Malcolm Brogdon in a cheap trade with the Indiana Pacers. Jaylen Brown is staying put, and the Celtics should make a ton of noise in the Eastern Conference once again. The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets (more on them later) are likely the biggest roadblocks, but an improved, more mature Celtics team could take home the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Milwaukee Bucks +600

When you have the best NBA player, you have an upper hand in every matchup. Giannis Antetokounmpo is arguably the best all-around player in the league, and he creates immense fits for opposing teams. Now, the Bucks didn’t make any splashy moves in free agency, and frankly, they didn’t need to. If Khris Middleton was healthy in the 2022 playoffs, it would have been a much different story.

The Bucks have all the tools to win another NBA title, and if they can stay healthy, the Eastern Conference belongs to them. The best part of it all is that these are pretty decent odds for Milwaukee.

Oh, and Giannis has apparently been working on his game overseas during the summer. With the Bucks’ NBA title odds at this level, take the bait now.

Brooklyn Nets +800

The Nets and Bucks having the same betting odds for the 2023 NBA title is shocking. Then again, both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have stated that they will remain in Brooklyn for the upcoming season.

The fit with Ben Simmons is still a giant question mark (Simmons’ health is still a major issue). But, more than that, it’s just hard to trust the Nets.

Will Durant and Irving really stick it through the entire season without wanting out? If they lose a streak of games, is that the final tipping point?

This team feels like one pressure cooker waiting to beep, and when that time comes, things could get ugly. If you are betting on the Nets to win the NBA Championship, check these NY sports betting sites.

Los Angeles Lakers +1400

Yes, the Lakers did not get Kyrie Irving or Myles Turner. They landed Patrick Beverley, which is a decent pickup for LA. Still, the Lakers have Anthony Davis and LeBron James. That duo alone is worthy of consideration, and Rob Pelinka won’t sit back and be satisfied with another down season in Hollywood.

With odds at +1600, you could do much worse than taking a flier on the Lakers. After all, LeBron James proved he hasn’t slowed down at all.

Denver Nuggets +2000

Here’s the thing: Nikola Jokic is a top-10 player in the NBA. Jamal Murray is ready to roll, and Aaron Gordon is Aaron Gordon. The Nuggets have the talent to make a deep run, but time and time again we have seen them trip and fall. Injuries happened, inconsistent play happened, and the list goes on.

But, if the Nuggets can stay healthy and get a favorable playoff matchup, they could win the Western Conference and the NBA title. The Nuggets’ odds are favorable, so putting some money on them is worth a shot.
