Best NFL Player Prop Bets Week 2: De’Andre Swift, Passing TD’s & Receiving Yards

Michael Pittman Jr

Wasn’t that fun? The first week of the NFL season is over, and there were some surprising outcomes. The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers fell flat, the Los Angeles Rams lost their opener to the Buffalo Bills, and the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts ended in a tie (yes, really).

NFL Player Prop Bets Week 2

The first game of the Week 2 slate is a star-powered matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Patrick Mahomes vs. Justin Herbert. The high-powered Kansas City offense against an electric Chargers defense, and we can talk about this game all day.

But, there are other touchdown props that are too good to be true. Here are a few Week 2 NFL odds that are worth betting on.

Either Michael Pittman Jr. Or Christian Kirk To Have 100+ Receiving Yards (+150)

Keep in mind: These aren’t the best, but it is plus odds. Both of these wide receivers are the top passing option on each of their respective teams. In Week 1, Pittman had 121 yards and Kirk had 117 yards as both of them led their teams.

The Colts play the Jaguars in Jacksonville, and both teams are coming off losses. Neither of these defenses is very good, and the fact that both of these guys are the main receiving option makes this an easy bet for Week 2. It’s EITHER, and there’s a good chance that both of these guys eclipse the 100-yard mark.

De’Andre Swift & Antonio Gibson To Each Have 100+ Scrimmage Yards (+700)

These odds for this prop seem like a mistake, but it’s a real thing on FanDuel. De’Andre Swift and Antonio Gibson both had strong Week 1 performances.

Swift had 174 total yards against the Philadelphia Eagles, and Gibson had 130 combined yards in a win over the Jaguars.

Just like the Jaguars-Colts matchup, both of these defenses have question marks, and both of these offenses can score points. Gibson and Swift should have no problems getting past the 100-yard mark, especially considering this is for SCRIMMAGE yards.

Myles Garrett To Record A Sack & Nick Chubb To Have 100+ Rushing (+300)

The Cleveland Browns face the New York Jets in Week 2. That’s just about all we need to know when examining this bet.

The Jets don’t look very good with Zach Wilson not healthy and Joe Flacco starting games. On the other hand, the Browns defeated the Carolina Panthers in a Week 1 thriller on a run-heavy offensive gameplan. Until Deshaun Watson returns, that will be the calling card for Cleveland.

Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt did what we all expected — they ran the ball a ton and were the focal point of the Browns offense. This shouldn’t change in Week 2. Chubb had 141 yards rushing and Myles Garrett had a pair of sacks against the Panthers, so this prop bet is another one that will give you a pretty decent payout — especially with plus odds.

Either Patrick Mahomes Or Justin Herbert To Throw 4+ Passing TDs (+150)

We had to pick at least one from this Thursday Night Football thriller. Patrick Mahomes had five touchdown passes against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, and Justin Herbert had three of his own while looking like an MVP candidate against the Raiders.

The Chiefs defense isn’t as strong as they were in 2021, so Herbert could easily throw four touchdown passes. Even though the LA defense is strong, Mahomes is one of a kind and can easily score points against any defense. Oh, and Travis Kelce has historically given the Chargers fits.

The likelihood of one of these players throwing four touchdowns is high, and at +150 odds, this is a bet worth making in Week 2 of the NFL campaign. This game could go to overtime, and we all remember the thrilling game between these two previously. Don’t miss out on a risk-free bet with this PointsBet promo code.
