Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington Prediction
Kamaru Usman’s and Covington’s style are very similar, with both fighters being former NCAA wrestlers. They like to stretch out the rounds and weather down their opponents. Covington has more finishes under his belt than Usman inside the UFC’s Octagon. Usman has the advantage when it comes to striking output, and that could be essential on the judges score cards.
Pressure will be key here. We have already seen Usman shine by defeating Woodley – for Covington could his could be his chance to dethrone the new champ. Covington’s odds as an underdog are enticing at (+140), bet $100 to make $100. However the sheer power and well-roundedness of Usman is undeniable, to edge the win on the judges score cards.

Max Holloway vs Alexander Volkanovski
Alexander Volkanovski poses the biggest thread to Max Holloway since possibly Jose Aldo. Holloway ended up facing a slightly washed up Aldo and finishing him with ease in the 3rd round, not once but twice.
Volkanovski’s pressure style could cause Holloway problems. We’ve yet to see a wrestler implement a successful gameplay on Holloway but could Volkanovski have his number? Nunes vs GDR is a rematch from their first bout six years ago. On paper this match should be more competitive than many are expecting. GDR is a vastly experienced kickboxer and with Nunes striking style it will be interesting to see how she approaches GDR.

This fight should come down to Nune’s improved boxing and power with who has the better fight IQ to be tested at UFC 245.
