VanZant Opens as Betting Favorite over Ostovich
For Paige’s second BKFC fight she opens as the favorite against Rachael Ostovich. The oddsmakers are giving PVZ an implied win probability of 66.67%, bet $200 to net $100 profit. Paige showed true grit in her first fight at BKFC, which saw her go to a decision against Britain Hart – but ultimately come up short. There is betting value on Rachael Ostovich here as a +160 underdog, bet $100 to net $160 profit.
The rematch between VanZant and Ostovich will play out much differently given the first fight was under MMA rules. PVZ managed to land 17 of 27 significant strikes compared to 10 out of 14 for Ostovich. In the end, it was the MMA skillset that prevailed for PVZ as she submitted Ostovich by armbar in the second round.
Given the fact that this is Ostovich’s first bare-knuckle fight and her current losing streak is at three. She will definitely be on the back foot during this fight.
