The betting favorite here for UFC Fight Night 220 is Nikita Krylov -165 (Bet $165, Net $100 profit). His opponent Ryan Span offers real betting value at +145 (Bet $100, Net $145), while Krylov deserves to be a modest favorite here, Spann has one-punch KO power and wins by KO in the opening rounds like his previous fights.

Nikita Krylov vs Ryan Spann Betting Prediction

Nikita Krylov is as battle-tested as they come, since entering the UFC in 2013, “The Miner” has taken on the best of the light heavyweight division with vast experience. Krylov is currently riding back-to-back wins in his past two fights.

Overall, Krylov has gone 3-2 in his past five fights including additional wins over Alexander Gustafsson and Johnny Walker. Krylov’s been the betting favorite for his past few fights, including against Paul Craig which was his last upset loss.

Meanwhile, “Superman” Spann enters his sixth straight fight as an underdog. Spann was +195 against Reyes and +215 when he took Ion Cutelaba – there were both fights he won.

I think Ryan Spann is best as a first-round fighter, knowing how quickly he starts Krylov will be prepared to close the distance and grapple early if needed. Aiming to exhaust Spann and drag him into the later rounds.

The longer this fight stays on its feet, the higher Spann’s chances are of hurting and even stopping Krylov. However, I see Krylov getting Spann down and attempting a submission just like how Spann lost his last fight to Anthony Smith.

Betting Pick: Krylov by Submission

  • Andre Muniz vs Brendan Allen
  • Jordan Leavitt vs. Victor Martinez

Jordan Leavitt is set to return to action at UFC Fight Night 2022, after losing to Paddy Pimblett last July. Standing in his way is Victor “The Brick” Martinez, a real striker and former Fury FC champion. Ode Osbourne returns to the cage and hopes to get back into the winner’s column in a clash against Denys Bondar.
