The UFC s undisputed lightweight belt will be up for grabs in a main event super fight when the present 155-pound king, Islam Makhachev, defends his title against the UFC s 145-pound champ, Alex Volkanovski. UFC 284 Betting Odds
Tyson Pedro vs. Modestas Bukauskas Odds & Pick
Tyson Pedro began his UFC run with two straight victories until he went on a 1-3 skid with a current record of 9-3. After returning from a lengthy layoff Pedro came back with a bang, securing two knockouts over Ike Villanueva and Harry Hunsucker.
His opponent Modestas Bukauskas left the UFC with a record of 1-4, from there he went onto Cage Warriors and scored two wins back to back in late 2022. The Lithuanian-British MMA star is now back for one more UFC run.
I see a situation here where Pedro rushes Bukauskas, and gets the win inside the distance. Pedro to win by TKO is +150 to +180, depending on which sports betting sites you shop at to find the best UFC 284 betting odds.
Betting Pick: Pedro by TKO.

Jimmy Crute vs. Alonzo Menifield Odds & Pick
Crute is an extremely well-rounded youngster for a striker at such an early age. He is an incredibly competent wrestler with powerful submission skills, making him merely a handful to offset.
Colliding against Crute will be Alonzo Menifield, who is a force to be reckoned with. Given Menifield’s fighting capabilities, he is someone who Crute should be cautious striking or wrestling with. If Crute’s typical double legs, could be squashed by Menifield.
At -190 for Crute, you’d have to wager $190 to net $100. Menifield is durable and cardio for days with real KO power too. At +150 I like the value on Menifield as the underdog here, Crute is hittable and this time he could be finished inside the distance.
Our UFC 284 prediction is Menifield to win here, pick the moneyline to avoid picking by finish or not.
Betting Pick: Menifield (Moneyline).
Justin Tafa vs. Parker Porter Odds & Pick
Tafa and Porter are 2-3 and 3-2 respectively in their last five fights. This is a risk but heavyweight fight, that offers betting value on both sides.
Porter is better known for his durability, boxing and solid BJJ baseline to his MMA skillset. He’s got good defence but could find it difficult against the speed of Justin Tafa.
Tafa likes to start fast and close the distance quickly due to his reach and height disadvantage. I’m picking Tafa here as the slight favorite at -125, looking to add a couple of extra units for him to win by TKO offers value at +170.
Jamie Mullarkey vs. Francisco Prado Odds & Pick
At 155-pounds we have Mullarkey vs Prado, a fight that’s expected to deliver. The current UFC 284 betting line is marginally in favor of Mullarkey, with extra value to pick him by finish.
Francisco Prado is undefeated and has scored KO after KO. Now he’s stepping up in competiton with his first UFC fight on short notice against Jamie Mullarkey. Since his debut in 2019, Mullarkey is 3-3 and is a training partner of Volkanovski.
Prado is able to fight through adversity and come back and win. For this fight I expect it to be the latter, with Padro having his best moments until later in the fight. Expect Mullarkey to land clean shots from the elbows and knees, with deceiving power to stop Padro towards the end of the fight.
Betting on Padro as a +225 underdog is tempting but not worth the risk yet. My pick is Mullarkey at +130. Bet $100 to net $130 on Mullarkey at UFC 284.
Betting Pick: Jamie Mullarkey by TKO.
