The UFC has finally, come back, to London, England! This Saturday England’s very own Tom Aspinall will take on #6 ranked heavyweight Alexander Volkov. Arnold Allen will take on the always game Dan Hooker, with Paddy “The Baddy” rounding off the main card with his second UFC fight going up against Rodrigo Vargas. Below are the latest UFC London odds for your betting action this coming weekend.
UFC London Odds
Volkov vs Aspinall Odds & Prediction
Volkov vs Aspinall odds is shaping up to be a real pick em’. Some online sportsbooks are torn on the betting favorite, but on some sites you can clearly see where the UFC public money is being wagered. Aspinall can be found as a -125 favorite on BetMGM sportsbook, while Volkov is favored to defeat Aspinall as a -120 favorite.
After Aspinall settles into this fight, I expect him to be able to use his jab and speed and piece up Volkov. He also has the wrestling and jiu-jitsu advantage, as we’ve seen Volkov struggle with wrestlers. Volkov will have moments in the fight, but by the third round, Aspinall’s speed and pressure will become too much for Volkov to endure.
Betting Pick: Aspinall by TKO/KO.
Allen vs Hooker Odds & Prediction
Allen vs Hooker is yet another closely priced UFC fight. Arnold Allen is gradually becoming the slight favorite here -120 to defeat Dan Hooker. While, Hooker will make his UK debut he is currently even money +100 (Bet $100, Net $100).
At UFC London, Dan Hooker will drop back down to featherweight where he had more success in his early UFC run. Hookers return to 145-pounds, which has many wondering will the weight-cut be a concern. I expect this match-making to suit Hooker more than the previous fights he lost, due to the kickboxing style both fighters bring. Knowing that Hooker is the better kickboxer, I expect Allen to mix in some takedowns and really wear on the New Zealand fighter.
Betting Pick: Arnold Allen by Decision.
Pimblett vs Vargas Odds & Prediction
Paddy Pimblett’s second UFC fight and it’s another favorable one for the Liverpudlian. at 1/4, you want to look for Paddy to win inside the distance for better betting value. You can check out the latest Pimblett vs Vargas odds here.
Betting Pick: Pimblett by TKO/KO.
UFC London Betting Picks
You’ll find many ways of betting on fights online for UFC London. While straight moneyline bets can be a safe way to wager. Here are three of my favorite UFC London prop bets.
Gunnar Nelson by Submission
Gunni makes his return to the octagon at UFC London, to take on Takashi Sato. In his last fight, Sato lost by submission. I expect Gunnar to inflict some of his slick submission attempts on Sato and pick up a needed win here.
Sergei Pavlovich by KO
Shamil Abdurakhimov lost his last two fights by KO. He is set to square off against fellow Russian and KO artist Sergei Pavlovich. Expect someone’s lights to go out in this fight.
Nikita Krylov by decision
Nikita Krylov will take on Scotland’s very own Paul Craig at UFC London. Craig will look to take this fight to the ground, while Krylov should be able to grind out a decision by keeping this fight on the feet.
