Paul vs Woodley 2 Predictions

YouTube star turn boxing troll Jake Paul returns on Dec 18 to take on former UFC middleweight champion Tyron Woodley. This will be a cruiserweight rematch

Jake Paul landed more volume in the fight and had more success overall. While Tyron Woodley was competitive at times he remained slightly gun shy and didn’t commit to his punches. We’ve seen this countless times towards the end of Woodley’s UFC career.

That being said, in Woodley’s last UFC fight against Vicente Luque he came out guns blazing and that type of approach from a seasoned veteran like Woodley might be enough to get Paul out or damaged early in the fight.

Woodley has been known for always being in shape but sometimes his cardio does diminish quicker in fights. With only two weeks to prepare, it certainly decreases his chances to deliver some punishment back at Paul. Woodley also lacks his biggest weapons that were more suited towards MMA, such as the overhand right and uppercuts which are harder to set up in a boxing bout.

It seemed that Jake Paul was preparing for one of the biggest tests to date against an actual pro-boxer in Tommy Fury. We can only expect Paul to have improved since his last performance in August. Paul will look to keep Woodley at bay with his jab and control his distance and the overall pace of the fight.

Betting Pick: Jake Paul by Decision.

Fury Fumble’s $60 Million Payday

After an entertaining press media call to promote Paul vs Fury, many had hoped that the bad blood would certainly be settled in the ring. Below contains Paul’s reaction to hearing the news of Tommy pulling out.

“The Fury’s have pulled out of the fight due to a ‘medical condition,'” Paul said in his post. “I couldn’t believe the news at first. It doesn’t even seem real. He fumbled the biggest bag of his life, now he’ll be watching at home paying me $60 instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me.

“When my team woke me up on Friday to tell me Tommy [Fury] was pulling out, I told them I’m ready to fight anyone on Dec. 18. Troy, Trey, Trevor, Travis. I don’t give a damn who it is.

“So, as I predicted Tommy Fumbles and Tyron is there to pick it up, stepping in, and contractually he is getting an extra $500,000 if he knocks me out. First time I outboxed him. This time I’m gonna punish him and leave no doubt,” he added.
