Badr Hari-310

The latest odds for Hari vs Overeem 3 have Badr Hari with win probability of 85.6% to defeat Alistair Overeem a second time. The odds are in Hari’s favor this fight as he takes on a much older Overeem, who has been in MMA this past few years.

Badr Hari hasn’t won a kickboxing bout in 6 years, while Overeem hasn’t fought in kickboxing since 2010. Since then “The Demolition Man” went an impressive UFC run picking up notae wins over Frank Mir, Junior dos Santos, Mark Hunt and Junior dos Santos.

Hari vs. Overeem – The Final Chapter: Do or Die

Hari vs Overeem Prediction

In their first encounter Overeem knocked Hari out in the first round at K-1 Dynamite in December 2008. Hari evened the scales making it 1-1 at the World Grand Prix in December 2009, after the referee stopped the fight after Hari dropped Overeem multiple times.

This could be a real challange for Overeem, who is so used to fighting solely in MMA this past 12 years. The former Strikeforce champion, has adapted his style over the years from prime Ubereem to the less durable version that Alexander Volkov finished in his last UFC fight.

Hari is set to make his 126th kickboxing appearance as he hopes to score victory No. 107. “Bad Boy” has had a string of unfortunately Glory fights these past few years, from the arm injury in the first Verhoeven fight to the leg injury in the second. Then he suffered two back-to-back losses for the first time since 2008. To his most recent fight against Arkadiusz Wrzosek was canceled after a riot escalated in the crowd.

Badr Hari vs Alistair Overeem 3 | GLORY Collison 4 press conference highlight | @GLORY Kickboxing

Hari is still only 37, but has been in the fight game forever it seems, the same with Overeem except he’s a few years older at 42. As Hari said in the press conference, I expect the “Bad Boy” to test the return of Overeem to the sport where he become infamously known as the “Demolition Man”.

This fight is coming much later in their careers than it should. Nevertheless, Hari and Overeem are true pioneers and have the ability to knock anyone out on the right night. I expect the pace to be slower than your typical Glory fight, but have flashes of explosiveness on both sides as the power will still be there.

Betting Pick: Hari by KO.

Historic Night set for Glory Collision 4
