Adesanya vs Whittaker 2 Odds
Online sportbooks are giving Israel Adesanya a clear advantage over Robert Whittaker for their upcoming rematch. You can find Adesanya as clear as -215, bet $215 to net $100 on ‘Stylebender’ retaining his belt. ‘Bobby Knuckles’ has a real opportunity to cause an upset here, he’s currently +180, bet $100 and net $180, and is on a three-fight winning streak since their first fight.

Betting on Adesanya vs Whittaker
Both Adesanya and Whittaker have picked up three wins at middleweight since their first bout at UFC 243 in 2019. The only blemish on Adesanya’s side is his failed attempt to win a second melt at light heavyweight to Jan Blachowicz.
After defeating Whittaker at UFC 243, the UFC handed Adesanya a golden ticket and allowed Yoel Romero to fight for the title while coming off back-to-back losses. Many had high hopes but the fight failed to live up to expectations.
Adesanya returned later that year to take on an undefeated Paulo Costa. This was one of Adesanya’s best performances and he completely shut down ‘Borrachinha’. If this version shows up in the rematch against Whittaker, it could be another short night where Adesanya gets his hand raised again.
The level of competition Whittaker has faced has been next level. From a title run where he picked up wins over Derek Brunson, Ronaldo Souza, and back-to-back wins over a prime Yoel Romero. In his only loss since 2014 to Adesanya, Whittaker fought an emotional fight and was finished in the second round by ‘Stylebender’.
Since then Whittaker has been in the trenches, working his way back into title contention. He’s accumulated three solid wins over Darren Till, Jared Cannonier, and Kelvin Gastelum.
We’ve seen Whittaker’s fight IQ grow to the next level and that will be needed in the rematch against a striking whizz like Adesanya. At these opening odds of +180, I like Whittaker’s odds of having a game plan that’s enough to win back his middleweight title and set up a huge trilogy fight in the near future.
