Edgar vs Vera Prediction
This is a really quick turnaround for Edgar, coming off a devastating flying knee loss to Cory Sandhagen. That’s the dog in Frankie Edgar for you, he’s different bread and has had a lengthy UFC career. His fight style has become more readable especially when he comes up against these top-level younger fighters. Since 2018, we haven’t seen much killer instinct from Edgar this is a risky fight against a hungry “Chito”, that’s 11 years younger than Edgar. Where Edgar does shine if he can get on the inside and take Vera down.

I expect both fighters to be fighting for the center of the octagon, I expect Vera to keep his distance and play this fight extremely smart and wait for his moment to land the most dangerous shots. I expect Vera to score a late TKO win over Edgar, utilizing shots to the body and eventually the head.

Georges lost, close decisions, controversial decisions but he’s a legend. You have to give it Georges but I think Kamaru is the greatest welterweight of all-time now.”
