- Francis Ngannou remains the betting favorite against heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
- Former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is a big underdog in the latest odds against Vicente Luque.
- Sean O’Malley is favored to pick up a win over Thomas Almedia, after losing his first MMA fight to Marlon Vera.
March is turning out to be a huge month for the UFC. Usually, fans are gifted one PPV per month, this month we have two huge PPV cards. UFC 260 doesn’t have three title fights like UFC 269 or UFC 261. However, it does has one of the biggest heavyweight rematches in recent history between Miocic vs Ngannou.
UFC 260 Odds

---|---|---|---|---|
Heavyweight | Francis Ngannou | -138 | Stipe Miocic | +110 |
Welterweight | Vicente Luque | -275 | Tyron Woodley | +225 |
Bantamweight | Sean O’Malley | -334 | Thomas Almeida | +250 |
Lightweight | Khama Worthy | -138 | Jamie Mullarkey | +110 |
Light Heavyweight | William Knight | -110 | Alonzo Menifield | -110 |
Women’s Strawweight | Hannah Goldy | -110 | Jessica Penne | -110 |

Light Heavyweight | Michał Oleksiejczuk | -160 | Modestas Bukauskas | +130 |
Women’s Flyweight | Miranda Maverick | -170 | Gillian Robertson | +140 |

In the main event at UFC 260, we have an intriguing fight between Miocic vs Ngannou 2. The odds don’t make a tone of sense to me, I don’t think Ngannou deserves to be a -138 favorite over Stipe.
Looking at Ngannou’s significant strikes, he lands 2.23 compared to Stipe at 4.90 per minute.
After round one in “The Predator’s” significant strikes accuracy percentage declines each round. If he doesn’t get the first-round KO, then it’s hard to see him winning this fight.
I expect Stipe to take advantage of Ngannou’s lack of well roundness. Not always the best fighters win their bouts, saying that is Ngannou’s one dimension KO power could be enough against Stipe, who is now 38 years of age.
Stipe will have to weather the storm early on. What has changed from Stipe since their first fight, well for one he’s been KO’d by Daniel Cormier, and other than that he won the rematch and trilogy against DC. Since Ngannou’s average fight time is just over five minutes, it doesn’t give fans or media much data to know how much “The Predator” has improved.
My Betting tip for this is a fight, is to stay away from a straight-up moneyline wager. Ngannou by first-round KO would be a smart prop bet and also Stipe by decision.
Co-Main Betting Pick for Luque Defeating Woodley
In the co-main Tyron Woodley will take on Vicente Luque. The former champ Woodley is a sizable underdog and hasn’t won a fight since 2018. Although Woodley is still a solid fighter, I expect Luque to try and finish him inside the distance. For a full breakdown check out our predictions for Woodley vs Luque.
Suga Sean Returns as Big Favorite against Almeida
Sean O’Malley returns from his first MMA loss to Marlon Vera in 2020. He takes on Brazil’s Thomas Almeida.
Many UFC fans will remember Almeida from his fight against Cody Garbrandt. While “No Love” was on his climb to the top. Since then Almeida defeated Albert Morales but lost three in a row.
This is clearer another stepping stone for O’Malley after losing some buzz to Vera. Expect O’Malley to score a TKO/KO victory over Almeida, which will immediately put Suga back in the mix with the elite fighters at bantamweight.
UFC 260 Loses Featherweight Championship Fight
The co-main at UFC 260 was supposed to be Alexander Volkanovski defending his featherweight strap against Brian Ortega.
Brian Ortega has wished Alexander Volkanovski a speedy recovery following his medical withdrawal from UFC 260.
