- UFC Fight Night 160 returns to Copenhagen, Denmark.
- Gunnar Nelson opens as the betting favorute (-310) against Thiago Alves (+240).
- Jared Cannonier returns after defeating Anderson Silva, opening as an underdog against the Jack “The Joker” Hermansson.
UFC Fight Night 160 (UFC on ESPN+ 18) is set to take place on Sat., Sept 28 at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark headlined by “Hermansson vs. Cannonier”. The online betting site Bovada have released odds for the main two bouts at UFC Copenhagen.
Gunnar Nelson vs Thiago Alves Odds
Gunnar Nelson is the betting favourite, bet $310 to win $100. Alves being the betting underdog, means if you bet $100 you could profit $240.
Gunnar Nelson (17-4-1), was once hyped a future title contender, that’s not to say he still won’t challenge for it some day. It’s just Gunnar needs to really focus and play to his strengths. Coming off a split decision loss to Leon Edwards, we see Gunnar getting back into the win column against an over the hill Thiago Alves.
Jack Hermansson vs Jared Cannonier Odds
Jack Hermansson is the betting favourite here, bet $225 to win $100. Cannonier being the betting underdog, means if you bet $100 you could profit $175.
Both Hermansson and Cannonier defeated brazalina legends in their past bouts, in Jacarez Souza and Anderson Silva. Hermansson is ranked #4 in the middleweight rankings and we believe he has the ability to make it all the way for the title shot.
Standing in his way is the underrated Jared Cannonier, currently on a two-win fight streak. Cannonier is definitely an underrated contender at middleweight. Expect Cannonier to put Hermansson to test, but the Joker Hermansson will prevail.
